Dr. Md. Hedyatul Islam holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture and brings over 20 years of dedicated experience to the field of agricultural development. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with researchers to farmers to demonstrated sustainable and innovative farming practices. As an educator and mentor, Dr. Islam is deeply passionate about guiding students toward meaningful and impactful careers in agriculture. With a lifelong vision to serve as an agricultural activist, educator, and advisor, he will remain committed to building a brighter and more resilient future for farming communities

PAST CARRIER: A total of 23 years of experience working in various capacities, including as Team Leader – Agriculture and Livelihoods at CARE Bangladesh, a non-government international development organization. Throughout my career, I have focused primarily on the design, implementation, and oversight of agriculture and livelihoods components within development programs. My work has emphasized promoting climate-smart agriculture, enhancing food security, and advancing inclusive, market-driven approaches to strengthen the livelihoods of vulnerable farming families.
